Who we are

Next Water Solutions (NextWaters) runs nextwaters.com and decides how the personal data described here is used: we are its controller under Qatar's Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (Law No. 13 of 2016).

What we collect

We collect only what we need:

• What you send us. The contact form asks for your name, email address, subject and message, and, if you wish, your phone number. Please leave sensitive information, such as health or financial details, out of your message.
• Spam protection. When you start filling in the contact form, Google reCAPTCHA looks at how the page is used, such as the browser, the device and mouse and keyboard activity, to tell people from automated spam.
• How the site is used. Google Analytics records the pages you visit, how you arrived, what you click (for example a phone number or email address, never what you type in the form), your device, browser, language and approximate location, and an identifier in a cookie. In the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it does so only if you allow it.
• Session recordings. Microsoft Clarity records how you scroll, click and move through the pages, and makes heatmaps from those recordings. What you type in the contact form is never recorded. In the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it records only if you allow it.
• Technical data. Like every website, our server receives your IP address, the page requested and your browser, and keeps them in its logs.

Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry and email you a receipt that repeats your message: because you asked us to.
• To keep the contact form free of spam and abuse (reCAPTCHA): our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it (Google Analytics): our legitimate interest, or your consent where the law requires it, such as in the European Union and the United Kingdom.
• To see where the site is hard to use (Microsoft Clarity): our legitimate interest, or your consent where the law requires it.
• To run the site safely (server logs): our legitimate interest in security.

We do not sell personal data, use it for marketing or make automated decisions about you. If we ever want to send you news or offers, we will ask you first.

Who receives it

• Our team, who answer enquiries.
• Google, which processes data on our behalf: Google Workspace carries our email, including the contact form's messages and receipts; Google reCAPTCHA protects the form (Google has processed reCAPTCHA data for its customers since 2 April 2026); Google Analytics measures how the site is used.
• Microsoft, for Microsoft Clarity's recordings and heatmaps. Microsoft decides for itself how it uses this data, as its privacy statement explains; we tell Clarity not to use it for advertising.
• Our hosting provider, whose servers in France run the website.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

How Google uses data from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Transfers outside Qatar

Our website runs on servers in France, in the European Union. Google and Microsoft process data in the United States and other countries. These transfers are protected by their data processing terms, standard contractual clauses and the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, in which both take part.

How long we keep it

• Contact form messages and our replies: while your enquiry is open, then for 3 years.
• Google Analytics: data linked to cookies or identifiers for 2 months, then deleted; reports of totals only are kept. Its cookies last up to 2 years after your last visit.
• Microsoft Clarity: recordings for 30 days, some kept up to 9 months; its cookies last up to 1 year.
• Server logs: up to 90 days, then deleted, unless we need them longer to investigate a security incident.
• Your cookie choices: in your browser, until you change them or clear its storage.

When the time is up, we delete the data or make it anonymous.

Your rights

Under Qatar's law, and similar laws where you live, you may:

• know how your data is used, as this policy explains;
• see the data we hold about you and have a copy;
• have it corrected or completed;
• have it deleted when we no longer need it, or when you withdraw your consent;
• object to its use, and withdraw your consent at any time, for example with Cookie settings;
• be told if data about you was disclosed by mistake.

To use these rights, write to engg@nextwaters.com. We reply within 30 days of receiving your request. If a request is complex or you have sent several, we may extend this once, by up to 30 more days; we will tell you, and why, before the first 30 days end. We may ask you to confirm who you are.

Complaints

Please tell us first, at engg@nextwaters.com, and we will do our best to put things right.

You may also complain to the National Data Privacy Office of Qatar's National Cyber Security Agency and, if you live in another country, to its data protection authority, such as the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) in Saudi Arabia.

Security

The site uses HTTPS. Only our team can read the messages you send, and our providers are bound by data processing terms to protect the data they handle for us.

Children

This site is for businesses and organisations and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect children's data.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version; when it changes, we ask again for your choices where consent is needed.
